I went to Japan and took all these pics for y’all, I had a big feature planned, and then a Northwest airlines baggage handler went and stole my luggage. All my photos were gone (along with my, souveniers, roller blades, clothes, etc). Three months later my luggage was found in an abandoned barn in the middle of Minnesota, only my socks and these kids food magazines were left and they
smelled like cow shit. But damn-it, I was going to do a Japanese feature so here it is, haiku poems about Japanese kids’ lunches, “Crazy Happy Lunch!”
Funny…

Very funny caricatures and very well done!
Born in 1973 as Patrick Mark Boehm (his father was a fan of actor Patrick McGoohan at this time), Paddy was interested from early on in drawing and funny arts. At the age of 15 he started the comic-fanzine “Zeitlupe” together with his younger brother Tim. They did this for 10 years.
While his brother was always the man for cartoons, comics and animation (watch his website: www.metzgerstochter.de), Paddy does illustration and caricature. He was influenced by franco-belgian comic-artists as Uderzo, Morris, Franquin, Tabary and caricaturist like Mulatier, Morchoisne, Volker Ernsting and of course Sebastian Krueger.
Ingenuous, funny and interesting!
what is the difference between analogue and digital, physical and virtual? what connects and bridges these apparently different worlds?
this is the area we wanted to explore with our universal connections experiment and project. It is a question that each member of dialog05 addresses on a daily basis as an industrial designer creating consumer products.
USB, an abbreviation for a technical user interface, is nowadays often used as a synonym for a universal connection. originally only used by computer experts and nerds, this so-called former high-tech standard has developed into an every-day item and low-tech symbol for such universal connections.
